Android upgrade 2.2

Ok so I knew about the update for a while but I thought the upgrade wasn't gonna come for a while. Now that I searched n read about the upgrade 2.2, I still haven't gotten the update. I read that they were going to stop giving the update on August 18th so am I gonna get the upgrade?

Everyone is supposed to get the update eventually. I didn't receive mine until about 3am today (8/19).

Oh ok thanks man yea cuz I'm still waiting on mine n its already 9:00 am I live in cali. I have a question tho what happened when u got the update like what popped up?

When you get the update, a notification will come on your phone that says a new software update is available. You can choose to "update now" or "update later"

The update for the Droid by Motorola is indeed still being rolled out. Hope this helps!

If you have Advanced Task Killer (ATK) installed you may want to consider removing it. I had it and wouldn't receive the update notification. Once I uninstalled I received the update notification within 24 hours. Others are posting similar success stories after uninstalling ATK.

My FROYO update loaded JUST AFTER I uninstalled ATK.
