I noticed that my Droid was unlocking itself when removing it from my leather pouch. Also noticed that the phone thought it was in the car port or even sometimes in the charging cradle. After lots of experimenting and troubleshooting I determined it was being caused by the magnet in the leather pouch lid. Most cases now use magnets instead of velcro to secure the flap. I do not know if this was causing any other issues while the phone was in the pouch but since I removed the magnets, all of these problems disappeared. I just ordered a new pouch from Android Central...I hope this helps anyone who might be experiencing similar issues...Come on Build FRG22!

Well that's good news. Do you know where I can view a list of other bug fixes that the new build will address?

yeah, that's how the multimedia and car docks work. It uses a magnet to switch the phone to desk clock and car mode.
Aside from a few security issues and allowing Flash to appear in the market, it doesn't seem to be much of an update.

This was an issue prior to Android 2.2. I use a Seidio leather pouch with the magnet on the flap and this would happen occasionally even prior to the 2.1 update.
