Answering a call....txt message alert in the way of answering call

When I answer a call from someone who texts me, if I do not press answer immediately the last text message shows up right where my options to answer or decline....this make it hard to answer the phone since the txt message notification is in the way.  Is there a setting I can change to prevent that txt message notification to stop?

Jacobt1978, thanks for your inquiry. I have an Incredible 2 also, and tried to duplicate your issue. I sent myself a text message from another phone, then called myself and I was still able to answer with no problems. I have the option to drag down the lock bar to answer the phone. I am not showing any settings to change this. Also, when I receive a text, the text only shows in the notification panel, so it doesn't show in the lock screen. Have you downloaded any apps so that the message shows in the lock screen?

Yes I believe it was app. that I have on my phone called Mr.Number.  I found the setting and have disabled it from showing the txt preview. Thank You for your response.
