I have a spyware app on my phone that scans any/all new updates or apps I want to install. I have a Droid Charge but I'm pretty sure most Verizon phones have almost the same apps available. Go to your APP STORE, search mobile protection in apps. I personally have:
AVG Mobilation Antivirus and
KASPERSKYlab- that one actually lets you set what content(i.e. Social/Gambling/Pornography/Annonymous Proxy Servers,etc..) may/may not be displayed, also choices of allowed apps.
One more idea: NORTON, it's great because it will scan your device when prompted and also you can choose for it to scan your SD/Memory card~Great Feature!!!

does this allow your phone to run smoothly? I am thinking about getting it since my phone is laggy and delayed!! Its getting worst it seems like everythime i use it.
