I am surprised how quickly & easily these free apps randomly show up even if you are not specifically looking for them. What is up with that? How can you elimate this from your phone?

You mean porn apps in the market? To be honest I don't tink there are any in the market. If they were any available the apps would probably be taken off the market considering that would be inappropriate

There are definitely apps in the Market that blatently say "free porn" or "free porn videos". I came across several of them last night when I was trying to find weather apps.....

I see what you are talking about, but I only found them when I typed "Free porn" into the search field. Maybe try searching for a particular weather app by name. The market place is sort of like an internet search engine for Apps, certain keywords will cause them to popup in a result field.

I can only assume that this is similar to a web search, and the porn developers add keywords to the metadata so their apps show up with common searches. Weather is probably one of the most searched apps, so it would make sense to include that in their keywords.

I looked it up...I did free porn search in the market and wow was I shocked. You know the best thing to do is go to the app and tap "inappropriate". Select sexual content and tap okay. You can do it for all those porn apps each. I am sure it'll be removed if tons of complaints come in about it. I reported all of them at least 8 times each as sexual content inappropriate.

Thank you for that tip....it is a shame though that we have to constantly go through those steps. The search I did was initially for weather apps and I had it filter the "free" ones. That is why I was shocked; it wasn't even a search for porn it was strictly based on being categorized as free.
