I woke up this morning and looked at my phone and there was a message stating there was a system update available for my phone. I went ahead and installed it. My question is does anyone know what the update was for? I guess I probably should have waited to get more info on the update before installing it, but oh well too late know.
It is only to fix an issue with Exchange for Corporate users. Until this morning I thought they were the only ones getting the update but I guess everyone is getting it. Looking forward to the first battery improving update that every phone seems to get every so often.
Any idea what issue for Exchange users might have been fixed?
It apparently had to do with an issue of random names being added to the CC field on e-mails being sent on the Exchange server. I am not sure what else but that appears to be the main issue.
The official Verizon document about it basically just says it "enhances" e-mail for Corporate accounts. With a footnote that says requires corporate account subscription required to see benefit.
