App. that will let me use my phone as a Router for my laptop.

I would like to be able to hook my laptop and phone together for access to the internet. I don't use it enought to pay the extra 30 monthly fee. Someone said there is a app with a one time fee that will do this. Does anyone know the name of the app and how to find it. Thx

What you're suggesting is called tethering, and Verizon does charge extra for that. You can try searching for a tethering app in the market, but I doubt there is such an app.

does have some limitations and there is a paid version. Be sure you read the comments from people who have used the app. The Verizon hotspot app is probably much more reliable but more expensive.

As is mostly true in this world.... you get what you pay for.

Also keep in mind that

and apps like this on the market can breach TOS.. Be careful because you can get hit with a large bill or canceled service under contract terms. Just a heads up...
