No worries, you won't be charged for the app, it's a pre-installed app that vzw provided with your phone.

Thank you. My next question is :
Is app necessary to run phone. It takes up a bunch of storage. Can this app be uninstalled and it so. Will it affect the running of droid x

suzeq:  this is a racing app an it was preinstalled by Verizon when u got ur phone just like the other preinstaled apps that are in your X:  NFS Shift has a demo race were u can try it out if u like it: its a 9.99 one time charge from Verizon but if ur not into racing it like the other apps that are Preinstalled they just sit there. i dont care for the blockbuster app an it never worked from the start but Verizon didn't remove it when fro-yo  was released  nor did they do anything on the last update. It would be be nice if  would be gone when gingerbred get pushed out onto our phones but as with anything dont your breath.

As crb79 mentioned, it is a pre-installed application. Those applications cannot be removed from the phone.

I wouldnt really worry about the space because this is stored on your device that has 8 Gig internal storage and even with you instslling to your heart content you will not fill this drive because this storage area is for apps and system files and you can not store anything personal to the drive, I have about 30 apps and a number of large games and I still have 6.07 Gigs free and I really put use to my unit.   And this doesnt include the 16 Gig sd card storage also that I am using 10.05 Gigs of

Just wanted to say that i had unistalled this app today. I like it, but would not pay 10$ for it.

I was in application settings and did the unistall from there.

I also was able to uninstall it using the Manager applications.  Menu>Settings>Applications>Manager applications. I should mention that this is the only preinstalled apps listed here. Not Blockbuster, City ID, and all the other bloatware is listed here.
