Apps won't install or update?

Suddenly, I can't install or update any of my apps.  It starts (the download), then pauses, and then quits, with no explanationor error message.  What now?

OK, I guess I'm not the only one: http://community.vzw.com/t5/DROID-Apps/Problems-with-Market/td-p/317682  It must be a Market issue.

Usually all I do to get the download to complete is by cycling Airplane mode and updates usually completes without issue.
