Droid X owners check for the new update: to get there hit menu > settings > about phone > System update if you want it let it start the download. but if not check the later box to do it later. an enjoy ! :smileyhappy:

I flashed back to froyo then ota to .596 then wiped system then upgraded to .602. Noticed updated radio plus some other minor tweaks.

Hows it rolling Galaxie pretty smooth when i viewed the update site the update looked like it covered alott of things or issues it was around 1:00 am when the update poped up on my X but i just hit later as i want to see how its doing an read the post before installing it plus i want a fully charged battery wich its fully charged now.

B33, the "Later" option means it will start within the hour. For me, coincidentally in the middle of a 3G drop. Fortunately, my wifi picked back up.

All this, after receiving an email the other day inviting me to participate in another soak. I declined. Maybe, so many people declined, they went ahead and released the update.

Who knows? Let's see if things are improved. I don't want to be skeptical and pessimistic about this phone. It's made me that way.

I updated first thing this morning. It has been a few hours now, and I have not noticed one drop on 3g at all. 3g has been pretty rock solid since the update.

 

The dropping of 3g is about the only problem I had with my X on GingerBread.

+1 -  pretty solid update so far.  I hope the Auto-power up afer shutdown issue is resolved ... will take a few nights to find out though.
