Audio issues DroidX

Every now and then, I get a message on my DroidX, it can't open my music files or play streaming music, where it open and/or steamed them before.  I have to turn the phone off and back on to get it work.  I have seen this issue on the forms but no resolution.

This seems to happen when I plug the phone in for power or dock it in the card doc.

Any suggestions, this started happening when I updated to 2.2.

Check your settings under Settings > Battery Manager > Battery Mode > , I use the Advance Settings and minimize the data disconnect times... Not sure if this is the nature of your issue but it helped my devices web connection from disconnecting.

Also when it disconnect like that, instead of restarting you can toggle the airplane mode to get connection back, it appears the connection seem to have a issue waking up the data connection after disconnecting the connection.

Try these steps:

Power the device off then, back on.

Then dial *228 send and option 1 on the device.

If you are using a  Task Manager Application remove it or , make sure you do not have it set to close the music player application.

If you are using any applications that adjust the  overall settings of the device, you may need to change those settings as well.

Try closing and re-opening the music application.

From the home screen, go to your  applications, then choose settings, then applications, then running services, then choose the music application. Then stop that application, then re-open it.
