I always use the speaker function to send a text or an email and now it won't work. It says "no audio". Any suggestions?

I have same issues daily.  Another issue I've had with audio is my ringtone and notification sounds stop working.  Seems to be a morning issue.  I've missed phone calls when I have my phone in my pocket.  Very annoying. I'm on "certified refurbished" phone #5...received my current phone last week.  So tired of it!!!
