Auto launcher

Help! Recently wallpaper was replaced with start auto launcher. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Have a moto X. Only changes are the regular updates. The screen is now

always green with Launch Android Auto across the bottom.

I know I like to have my phone set up just the way I like it and that definitely includes wallpaper. Do you receive an error when you attempt to change the wallpaper? Steps here:

From a Home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings > Display .
Tap Wallpaper.
Select one of the following: Gallery. ...
Select the desired wallpaper image then select Set wallpaper (located at the bottom).
