I have noticed my reception has gotten much much worse since the iphone came out for Verizon. My DATA reception is now terrible, Many texts will not send and Google maps hardly runs at all. What can I do?????

I've noticed the same thing i didn't think about iphone, horrible coverage, hardly lets me pull up internet!
I work in a basement at our university and have had fairly good reception for everything except voice on my DroidX. This week I'm not able to do anything. No text messages, emails, web, nothing, nada!!!
Just wonder if Verizon is having problems with the tower that services this area. Can I contact Verizon and inform them that my phone is basically useless now for 9 hours a day unless I want to take a stroll up to ground level??
