Background Conversation

I have a Droid 2 Global that is about 2 years old. A few days ago, I started hearing conversations going on in the background when I'm talking on the phone. It only happens when I receive a call, not when I call out. Depending (I guess) on how strong the signal is of the background conversation, it can be louder than the voice of the person I am talking to. The person I'm talking to can not hear the background conversation. It seems as if my phone is just picking up nearby signals and broadcasting through my phone. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

This is what's called "crosstalk". Crosstalk can be incredibly odd, so I'm sorry that you've been having to put up with it!
