Short Version: Backup Assistant doesn't seem to work right. If I try to delete some contacts from My Verizon or phone itself, they will go away for a few mins but then backed up again. Is there any remedy?
Long Version: When I got my Droid X, I ran my backup assist. and it synced all my email contacts including unnecessary ones. So I cleaned up my email contacts hoping that it will solve the problem by next synchronization, but it didn't help. So I went to Verizon Website to delete my contacts from there and I was able to delete around 100 contacts. However, it doesn't delete anymore. I still have around 50 to delete, but they won't go away, once I delete them from website or handheld itself, 5 mins later contacts are backed up. I tried to stop sync with my email account, still doesn't help . Has anyone encountered such problem with their phones?

If all fails, move the junk numbers to a separate group and filter them out.
My only problem with backup except with Facebook which is another beast.
