Am I able to back up the aps and the data that I have within them? I know I can back up my contacts but I have a ton of aps that I work with all the time and I dont want to loose that in formation.

@TerriCha1, there are a lot of File Managers on the market that will allow to you backup your apps as well. I have personally used Astro File Manager and AndroZip.
As far as the application data goes, I dont think that the app managers will backup the data. However, anything that an app stores on your SD card (configurations, settings etc) will stay put as long as you dont delete it. So if you remove and install an app again, in theory it could pick up the settings if available from SD card. If the app uses native android datastore to store this information, it will be lost as far as I know.
