OK, I think that message is just to avoid further electricity use when the phone is plugged in to a charging source, but the battery is full. I don't believe it will harm your phone to leave it plugged in after you see that message. I keep my phone on a desk dock(plugged into a 110 volt outlet) or a car dock (plugged into a 12-volt outlet) almost all the time. I have had no problems.

I don't understand your question. When you say you "unplug" the device, from what? And what is the other end of the usb cord plugged into? Do you see a battery indicator at the top right of the screen? If so, does it still show a charging condition?
Please clarify. Thanks.

It says 100 percent charge in the icon and it tells me to unplug it.
