Battery door loose - not a 'snug' fit

My Droid Incredible 2 has a loose battery door.
It appears to snap into place normally but it is NOT a snug fit.
It is very loose on the top right, bottom right, and left middle. Sometimes, the cover will even pop off on its own.
I have ensured there is no interference whatsoever.
There is no damage to the phone. It has never been dropped and has worked really well for 3 weeks with the exception of this issue (and bluetooth connectively, but that's another story)
Over on Phandroid, several others have reported this issue and have spoken with Verizon - since this is a warranty issue, Verizon has sent then replacement battery covers in the mail. Obviously, a brand new phone should not have issues like this.

Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if Verizon has truly confirmed this is a known issue (as indicated in the link above)?
Thanks!

Mine doesn't seem loose or like it'll pop off, but I did notice the phone "clicked" on the right side when handled, almost as if a button were there. My TPU cover came today and it makes the phone really solid, so I don't think it'll be an issue.
I hope your issue is soon resolved.

Called support and they said this was not a known issue so they told me to go to a store. I just wanted them to send me a new battery door.
I called again just to see if I could get a more lenient support person and they said I HAD to go to a store and have them call to get a new battery door.
So I went to a corporate store, called from the store, got Tier-2 support, and they gladly sent me a battery door. The guy could not have been nicer and more understanding. Although he once again told me they have not heard this issue yet.
So I'll get the new door tomorrow. If that doesn't fix the issue, they'll send me a new phone

Hello templetonryecy,
I'm glad that this issue has been addressed by sending out a battery door. Just to confirm, this is not a known issue with the battery door. If you are still having issues once you get the new battery door, feel free to post for additional assistance.
