Battery issue ( phone wont turn on) been posted but nothing works

this is the second time is has happened. My phone died on my shut it self off and no matter how many time i do a battery pull or keep it plug in to wall charger ( yes the one that came with the phone) all i get is the green led light. i had it on the charger for 5 hours so far after multiple batter pulls. just wanted to know if it could be my phone this is my second battery verizon gave me a new one almost a month ago. PLEASE HELP

Sounds like a hardware issue. Mine wouldn't progress beyond the "white M". Tried for an hour using Wildman's method with no results. Might be time to throw in the towel. The Droid X is a great phone, but with millions being manufactured, you're bound to find defective units.

so then its best i try and get them to give me another phone. i dont care if its a referb as long as i dont have this problem.

Take both the phone and the charger to the store and ask them to check it. It is possible that the phone is fine and the charger is defective. That's why it is important to take in both items.

Since this appears to be a repeating situation it does seem like a hardware issue, I would contact customer service and look at requesting a replacement because it seems you have a issue with your device or charger.
