Beats by Dr Dre (Solo HDs)

So I'm trying out my friends Beats by Dr Dre, and they will occasionally randomly either:

A. Change the Song to a random song in my library

B. Turn shuffle on when i dont want it on

C. Pause

D. Unpause

E. any combination of the above

Is this normal with using an iphone based monster cable product, and is there anything I can do to stop this from happening.

I am unclear what you are asking, why are you asking about a iPhone cable?

The Beats Solo's have an input as well as output on the connector.  If you are using an output only adapter this could be causing your issues.
