Bionic Questions: App Storage / Change Email default message / Add "If Lost" Message / Screens

First - can someone explain where to store apps?  If assigned to the Media Area (Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / Media Area - select App and move to media area), they disappear after a power off.  Why then is this an option...Is it a software bug? (They can be restored by moving them back to phone, but this is not easily done.)   Is there a another place to Apps, or should they all stay in the "Application Storage" partition (just 3.27Gb on my phone)?  How do I use the Internal Storage (almost 8Gb) and what do I store there?

Second - is there a way to permanently change the "Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4GLTE Phone" message?  I can edit it my individual message but that is a royal pain.  (The Messaging App must be used to access individual email accounts).

Third - Is there a way to add a "lost phone" message on the opening (lock slide) or sign-in screen?  (Not terribly important but I could add a message on the OR Droid.)

Finally, any comments about using Screens on this device?

From what I have heard from users noticing this issue, I think this happens because the drive is probally mounting afyer the software scans for apps....  I think they call it a Media Area because it is intended for storing music and videos..

If its like the Droid X try opening Messaging and select Menu / Settings / Signature.
