Bionic & Verizon Video update questions

I don't want the Verizon Video app, but I can't seem to uninstall it.  Now I'm getting a daily message to update the application.  How do I disable that feature or how can I uninstall/disable this application?

Hi Chasman1956,

Are you having any particular issues with the Verizon Video Application?

Please keep in mind that pre-installed applications cannot be removed from our devices. Updating the application will stop the daily reminder for the available update.

If you are experiencing any particular issues with the application we'll be happy to provide you troubleshooting options. Please elaborate on the issues encountered (if any).

It was an update the changed the name of vcast video to Verizon video . Nothing is wrong with it. Mine did that until I updated it. U have to update since it came on the phone.

Actually Chasman1956, since everyone seems to be sidestepping your question I will restate it. "I don't want the Verizon Video app, but I can't seem to uninstall it.

Another option I am content to use is the "flag as inappropriate" option. Maybe if enough people complain Verizon will get the message, provide real customer service, and add your requested uninstall option.
