PLEASE SOMEONE TELL US WHEN THE DROID BIONIC IS GOING TO BE RELEASED! I'm so tired of rumor after rumor.
Thanks to the community for your responses.
We do not have a exact date when the bionic will be released. We appreciate your patience and we are also excited about this new device. Please click here to sign up and notified when that device is released.
Thank you
Aug 4th is the latest rumor? With a subsidized price tag of $300. Plus a tiered data plan. After such a long wait, I think I will wait until iPhone5 is out.
here's an idea....why don't you get all the problems worked out with other phones first....

It's apparent to me that Verizon doesn't give a flying ____ about their customers. They must have enough customers that they don't care whether or not we get sick of waiting, sick of the rumors and sick of them and leave for another carrier that does care about the customers. I put more faith in our government figuring out a debt solution than Verizon ever coming out with the Bionic. It's one thing to delay to try and make sure it's "right" before it comes out, unlike past releases. It's a whole different story to just keep their customers in the dark with a refusal to say anything at all.

That was totally uncalled for. I'm suing you for patent infrigement of my sarcastic remarks.
Good morning!
It's great to see so many people anxious about the Motorola Droid Bionic! I think it will be an awesome phone.
Like everyone else, all I've got are rumors from various blogs on the web. Verizon Wireless is anxious to have this phone out to our customers, I hope you believe that. When originally planned, Motorola didn't feel it was up to par. I believe we all read that, right? :smileyhappy: And since then, it's been Motorola making announcements about specs and estimated release dates. I know you are frustrated about not seeing much information about the device yet and want us to spill the beans on the Bionic. Fact is we are not included on meetings or given details on device releases much sooner than you are. Reason being that we do get as excited as you about new phones and we may just spill the beans! In this competitive business, its just not a good business decision to give the representatives all the information and I respect that. Surely, I'm not the only one working for a company that needs to keep certain details on a 'need--to-know' basis to keep a competitive edge?
Verizon Wireless still has an awesome line-up of Android OS devices to satisfy our customers needs.
We have set up a website for the Bionic! Right now, you can sign up for email alerts for the phone on there, but will be enhanced as more details become available! Go here for the site!!
Have a great day!
Adam, With all due respect, I was one of the first signers of that sign in sheet for the Bionic. There has been nothing since. We've heard nothing from Verizon, no details, no announcements, no emails, the page hasn't changed. We've been ignored. Our patience is running thin. We can blame Motorola for changing the entire design of the phone and the major delays, but once Verizon puts out that sign up page and tells its customers to sign up and get advance details to email notifications and then NOTHING, well, sorry only Verizon gets the blame for that cluster {word filter avoidance}
So disappointed. So tired of waiting.......
Does this still work? Oh, goody...A little dusty, but nonetheless

Gee, ever heard of Droid-Life, Android Central, Android Police, and even GottaBeMobile (BGR has too many i*phone fanboys writing to be credible with anything else)? Not Verizon, to be sure, but plenty of reading, info, and rumors to go around. We've heard nothing from Verizon, no details, no announcements, no emails, the page hasn't changed. We've been ignored. I haven't been....Our patience is running thin. My patience is running just fine, plenty of other things to worry about besides a release of a telephone (like a staging tragedy in Indiana that will probably affect several areas of my career). We can blame Motorola for changing the entire design of the phone and the major delays, Or we could appreciate the efforts of a manufacturer for NOT, for a change, releasing a product that isn't ready for prime time and is full of problems, as is more often the case than not these days. but once Verizon puts out that sign up page and tells its customers to sign up and get advance details to email notifications and then NOTHING, well, sorry only Verizon gets the blame for that cluster {word filter avoidance} Sez who? You? That may be fitting in your mind, but I doubt that's the general consensus. Don't get me wrong, I'd make a small wager that Adam and company might know a little more than we do, but I imagine that there are rules in their work agreement forbidding discussing such details until that appropriate department sez to. I know the feeling.... So disappointed. So tired of waiting.......Oh, please. Try discussing your disappointment with a wounded war vet. Or one of the victims or their families of the aforementioned staging incident. Or a cancer patient. Or the parents of a Downs Syndrome child. It's a phone, not a heart transplant. I'm hesitant to use the expression "Grow up" since I don't know anything about you except for what you've written. But, really....Please.... Blast from the Future, it's a month later and Verizon is still clueless on a actual release date. The Rumor Roundup claims September 8 but Motorola statement just say's September. My question to Verizon is what are you including in the cost of the phone and 2 year commitment from your customers when you do decide to release this phone.
