I will be making the jump from a BB (Tour) to the Incredible. Any tips or pointers from those who have switched? I'm looking forward the increased internet and multimedia functions.

Personally I think you will like the Incredible phone. Have you ever had a touch screen phone before? If not just a fair warning that it make take some time to get to used to the touch screen. Espcially when it comes to typing on the touch screen. The more typing you do for messages, the better you should get at it. I hope you do like the new phone though & it works out for you.

Appreciate the input.
I've never had a touch screen, but look forward to the change. I'm sure it will take some getting used to, especially since i've had a BB for years.

Documents to Go, well worth the $15. Might want to look at K9mail also for your email. It works with POP and IMAP and handles attachments much better than the Android provided mail.
Just my two bits.

doyling,
Thanks for the tip about Documents to Go. I know when speaking with the rep when I ordered the phone he mentioned that there were issues with the inc when trying to sinc to an Exchange Server?
Anybody know if there is any validity to this? If so is there a solution?

The device has no issues syncing with an Exchange Server. Here are the steps. HTH!
From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located in the lower-left).
Touch Mail.
- Touch Exchange ActiveSync.
- Enter the email address and password then touch Next.
- Enter the exchange server settings in the appropriate fields.
- Email address
- Server address
- Domain
- Username
- Password
- If desired, ensure This server requires an encrypted SSL connection is checked.
- Click Next.
- Select the data to synchronize then touch Finish setup.
- Contacts
- Calendar
- If prompted, touch OK.
- Enter new password, re-enter the new password then touch OK.

There are ways to improve that you know. Buy the external battery is one of the ways to improve that or even get the app called Power Manager Full for 99 cents

Once again thanks for the info. I look forward to actually getting my hands on the device and making the change.
Just ordered a case and screen protectors, now just have to see which will get here first. The accessories or the Inc...

I had an order in for the Incredible (replacing my BB) but now our IT department says that the 2.1 OS won't work with our version of Exchange. Anyone else heard of any issues??? I'm really bummed....because now my only option is going back with another BB!
