The way I read the article, is that it delayed the X from the initial release.... but the suit wasn't filed until September 15.
I doubt that this has caused the backorder situation. If it did, then I would have skyhook technology on my phone because I bought it on release day.
I think that it might have delayed the initial release.....
the above opinions are my own. However, there was a link that showed a copy of the Skyhook filing and that date is indisputable.
