I just don't see the big deal. I don't care for cityID or blockbuster, etc, so I don't use them, but they aren't in my way.They aren't causing me any issues, I don't understand the complaints.

It won't stop, but  maybe in the futre they will allow you to remove the software without having to have admin access.
