Blockbuster movie playback from DROID X, DROID 2 and Samsung Fascinate devices to HDTV via an HDMI cable is not possible at this time.

Yeah...figured this out the hard way.
This is how they seem to be configuring all devices that support HDMI out, and this is because of the DRM restrictions.... There is a app on the market called Real HDMI that is suppose to add features to the HDMI output, give it a try maybe it will help.
