I have had an ongoing issue with my Droid X since I bought it last December. Whenever I attempt to initiate a call through my Bluetooth device, I encounter a delay of 30 seconds or longer before I get the familiar "Please say a command..." prompt. I have tried a couple of different Bluetooth earpieces (Plantronics and Motorola) but the problem remains. In Googling this issue, it seems that a lot of other people have the same problem, but I have yet to read anything of a coherent solution.
I don't get this at all. I have had junk flip phones that worked flawlessly with Bluetooth, yet a top-of-the-line smartphone stumbles repeatedly in handling a well-established technology. I don't know if it's Android or the Droid X, and frankly I don't care. This problem is irritating to the nth degree, especially when you are talking about a technology (Bluetooth) that almost every other phone handles with ease, and without chronic delays.
Does anyone have any info on this issue?
Thanks!
