Bluetooth microphone does not work with other applications?

I am using the Jawbone ERA Bluetooth headset. This device work great for phone calls and listing to audio from other applications (Pandora, etc.). The problem is when the Bluetooth headset is connected, applications such as Default Voice Dialer, Google Voice, or Vlingo do not use the Bluetooth microphone for input, they always are using the microphone on the Phone. I cannot seem to get this working. Again, Bluetooth microphone works great for phone calls, but doe not work with applications. Any clues? Any one else with this issue?

I have called Verizon and stopped in the store with no luck on fixing. Is this an issue with Froyo and need Gingerbread?

Ok,

So I finally have the Gingerbread update on my Droid Charge, and still cannot seem to get the bluetooth microphone working with anything but phone calls. It still appears all the other applications still try to use the microphone on the phone instead of the connected bluetooth headset (Jawbone ERA). I get the audio in the bluetooth headset, but no microphone (Vlingo, Voice Dialer, etc.).

Any clues?

Are you activating the voice command from the headset or the phone because mine only works when I trigger from headset... Also have you checked and made sure the handsfree and media options are set for the bluetooth device on the phone.

I too have a Charge. Hate it. Anyways, I can not EVER get the "voice dial" to work. I speak slowly and distinctfully and it dials a completely different person or number! I am so disgusted with this phone. Every week or so I have to pull out the battery and reset the "card" in the back, or I don't have any internet. My camera freezes all the time and will not allow me to share using the email system.

Have you tried Vlingo, it works better than stock voice dialer app on my TB and Droid X?
