Although will randomly turn on all the way to home screen and can access all the apps and programs in phone. Tried to hard reset but it wont work. Any suggestions on what to do?

I have ran into this issue a couple times, and consider it a software crash. Sometimes it is permanent, so take advantage of backing up all the data you can in case you can't boot past this boot loader screen. If you would like to try a hard reset using the hardware keys follow these steps:
- Turn off the phone and slide open keyboard.
- Press Power key + "x" (on the hardware keyboard) to power on the phone and bring up the recovery screen
- Press and hold Volume Up + Camera Key until recovery menu appears, release keys when it appears
- Using the Volume keys, select "Wipe data factory Reset",
- Press the center of 5-way navigation pad
- Using the Volume keys, select Yes -- delete all user data
- Press the center of 5-way navigation pad
- Using the Volume keys select Reboot system now
- Press the center of 5-way navigation pad
By performing a factory data reset, it should prevent any more of these boot loader screens from appearing as long as your software is up to date. You can check this by clicking settings>about phone> system updates> check new.
I hope this helps and you don't get that error again. Again, backup that info before it's too late!
