Browsers

Can anyone recommend a good browser? I am using the browser supplied with the operating system and was wondering if there was anything out there better. I have tried Opera on a previous phone but didn't much like it. Thanks

There are a lot of users that love the Dolphin browser, so that would be another one to try.

Some are also fans of the Skyfire browser. I'm happy with the stock browser.

I understand what yiou mean about Opera because the developer removed features that the WM version had...  Dolphin or Firefox seem to be the more popular browser at the moment, Skyfire is another preatty nice one, you can get any of these through the market for free.  Give them a try and see what works for you.

Like what Wildman said, give those other browsers a try.

A few months ago I did and it was interesting and educational experience. There's a thread about it buried in the Droid Apps section of this community. In the end, I did decide to stick with one. There are a few more I want to test, but they are in a closed beta at moment and I am waiting for them to launch in the Market.

I really like XScope, although it wasn't free.

I am going to try the latest Foxfire for mobile sometime soon when things slow down for a minute.

I want one that will let me get to our company Intranet. Microsoft Sharepoint Services.

The stock one blocks the popup login window.

Actually if that is your only issue, in stock browser there is a option to block popups, disable that may resolve your issue..

Firefox works great. I haven't figured out how to book mark a page though.

Most browser bookmark simular, try left menu button while on page and see if bookmark is listed.
