Browsing on the Droid X

Is it not possible to Browse the Web during a conversation? 

I know the IPhone with AT&T allows you do browse and talk, but I've heard that the IPhone through Verizon doesnt allow you to do that. i'm wondering if the Droid X also does not allow you to browse and talk simultaneously as well.

No it is not possible while connected to Verizon's CDMA 3G network.

It is possible while connected to wifi and complete a phone call.

Only 4G devices will have this capability on the Verizon Network due to the CDMA restrictions, Verizon worked around this with 4G.

Haven't they also worked out a way to do this on future 3g phones? I saw on a few sites. Verizon was redoing the way the 3g worked to allow voice and data in the future anyone else see the same stories?

I heard a breif rumor of that but it hasnt showed anything since, I think this may be just a rumor because to do this isnt a small task and this has been what has been holding Sprint and Verizon back for this.  

I guess only time will tell...
