CUSTOMER SERVICE

Is it possible that Verizon could actually help a customer with a problem without saying " you signed a contract, rt? "sorry, you'll have to wait your 2 years" ( BTW, thank you Claudia for that help) So Verizon gets my $240, a single mom who is losing herhouse and has not worked in a  year. Why did I ever leave A T & T.

I was lied to by a Verizon store that added a 3rd line telling me that I wouldn't be charged for it. I'm being charged over $10 a month for the next 2 years ($240) for a phone that doesn't exist  because someone in Verizon store at closing time wanted to sell me an iPhone that I didn't need. All I wanted to do was have them fix the new cell phone that stopped working. Thanks Verizon, great customer service. I will not be coming back.

Admins on this board, this has been here for 2 days and not one response? This should be investigated.

Thanks

This has been posted in multiple threads, and this is mainly a peer-to-peer forum.

It seems to me the poster added a line to upgrade to an iPhone. I'm not even going to ask why someone without a job added a line (though I'm sorry to hear that), then thought there would be no monthly charge to add that line.

If my assumptions are wrong and this is an error -- meaning you don't  have an iPhone and are being charged an extra $10 for nothing -- please call customer service at *611 or 800-922-0204.

Hello fellow verizoners,

I like up to tell my own story of their HORRIBLE, I don't give a {word filter avoidance} attitude.  I have been a customer for 7 yrs and never had a need to be on these forums.  I had a regular flip phone and I didn't even know how to take a photo, are family plan was around 140.00 a month and like I says that has been for 7 yrs.  Well my contract was up and I ask my husband if I should try a smartphone, it will only cost 10.00 a month more.  Well it ended up costing me 29.99 a month plus insurance and guess what I am on my 10th phone this week since January and now this one doesn't work and I don't want to call them. I have 5 Samsung Fascinates all pre-certified, then we switched to the Droid X, I was so excited.  It was broken from the start so back ago it goes.  I had 4 of them.  Now all this time, I am so frustrated of them telling me they can't give me a new phone that they will only send me the refrubished ones. and I keep telling them, I don't care if you send me a 30 yt old phone, I just need a dependable phone, that is ALL I WANT.  Well I FINALLY got this amazing verizon service person you actually listened and really seemed to care.  She sent me a BRAND NEW HTC Incredible Droid 2, and guess what it DOESN'T"T WORK.  I was so excited waiting fir this phone, I thought this is going to work, it has to it is brand new, it is a HTC ,Which I thought was one of the best.  Now I am sitting here with 2 broken phones (I didn't send the other one back yet. I'm waiting on a call back from Casandra.  I am not a CRAZY, or insane person.  This is actually happening to me.  Now on this phone,

1)Screen gets locked up so bad that I I lite rely hurt my fingers to input data

2)Screen blacks out and you can't do anything

3)camera has problems with sd card, so I can't take photos.

4) a few of my friends called me and asked me what I wanted and I didn't make any calls

5) turning it over doesn't activated the speakerphone at all, and I did program it in settings

6)voice recognition doesn't work.  I can't use the microphone to do anything.

7)gps voice doesn't speak, no matter how many times I put mute on and off

That is what comes off the top of my head.  I have been on forums and talked to so many people. I think about going  back to the flip, but I am just blown away of what the devices can do, when they do them,  I don't want to call customer service, and I don't know Casandra's extension, I do know where she lives, but to deal with these people is a NIGHTMARE, and 4 of them were supervisors!!!!!  So Please wish me luck and don't hesitate to give me advice on which phone to try next, I just want a really good camera/recorder to tape my son in his Speech Therapy.

1) scares me. You DO realize that Android phones use capacitive touchscreens, and pressing harder doesn't do ANYTHING. Other than damage the phone of course.
