Caller id readout in earpiece

We just upgraded one of our phone from a Motorola barrage to a Samsung fascinate. The only thing we liked about the fascinate is the clarity of the screen in the daylight. But now that we have the phone in hand and hooked the blue tooth earpiece up to it, we find out that you can't get the phone to do the caller id readout in the earpiece. We should have known this since when we had the Samsung GZone phone we had the same problem. So after all that my question is does the Motorola x have the caller id readout in the earpiece? The earpiece I have is the Jawbone Prime. Thanks for the Help.

Nope.... get the same thing with the X... its an Android OS thing......

Sorry that's what I meant, the Droid X. So its not Just a Samsung thing its an Android OS thing huh? I figured that since every Samsung phone I have had never read out the caller ID and every Motorola phone did, that this one did, well glad I asked first. I guess the clarity of the Samsung might be worth it then.Thanks for your help.

I am able to have caller information recited through my bluetooth, I never payed attention if I had it by stock but I am starting to think Full Screen Caller ID is the app that gave me this option but I knowVlingo also adds this feature as well.... So if you want this feature you can take a look into one of these app.

It also doesn't happen on the env Touch..........

Thanks Wildman... I will look into those programs to see if they do it
