I just got this phone about 2 weeks ago as a replacement for my original Droid Incredible that got screwed up by the Gingerbread update. So far every picture I've taken with it comes out blurry. I've tried cleaning the lens, chaning the ISO setting, and changing the the resolution, and nothing seems to make any difference. To make things worse, it looks like there might be a piece of something under the glass of the lens, but I can't tell for sure because depending on the angle you're looking at the lens, sometimes you can see it and sometimes you can't. I don't know if I should try calling tech support or not, but the blurry picture thing is really bothering me. My Inc took amazing pictures and I basically used it as my point & shoot camera when I didn't want to lug around my DSLR, but so far this phone's camera is very disappointing.
I would call tech support, even if it's just a setting they should be able to help. Worse case scenerio you were sent a phone with a faulty camera and it should be replaced under warranty.
Mine takes great photos, so I would have the lens checked out.
Wow! That’s terrible! I had the Incredible and that had such a great camera on it. I am sorry that you received that phone from us. From what you are describing it sounds like it is the hardware on the phone that is causing the problem.
