Camera Flashing Pink

Just got my Incredible this week. Just yesterday I tried taking a picture (it worked earlier in the week) but when I hit the camera icon the screen just keeps flashing pink. I can click to take a picture but then the picture is just black.

I've tried looking for answers without luck. I've seen the problem mentioned but no solutions.

Try changing your camera settings. The steps are below. Hope this helps!

From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located in the lower-left).
Touch Camera.
Touch Menu.
Touch Settings (located at the bottom left of the screen).

Touch the desired camera setting:
White Balance(auto)
ISO(auto)
Resolution
Widescreen
Storage
Quality
Self-timer
Metering mode
Review duration
Flicker adjustment(auto)
Auto focus
Shutter sound
Time Stamp
Grid
