Please help me understand the camera file size settings.
The camera takes 10mb photos. But you cannot change the size manually?
How come there are no 10mb files then? Some are 1.9. Some are 3.4.
Frustrating.

You are NOT taking a 10 megabyte picture you are taking a 10 MEGAPIXEL picture. There is a difference between the camera resolution (10 MP) and a image's file size.
The current options (at least on my Droid Mini) are Widescreen 10 MP (16:9) and Standard 7.8 MP (4:3).

Are you referring to the resolution rather than the size? See:
How do I change the resolution when taking a photo or video?

No.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
