My husband gave me this amazing Droid X and I do love it so much, however, I'm concerned with the monthly expenses it comes with it, thus, I come with the question above (see subject line). I'm definitely so bad with direction (driving) especially if I'm in a new place, so GPS is a must for me, is there a way I can use the google map for free on my Droid X without paying additional expense for verizon navigator? I currently have the unlimited data plan. Please I need your advise. Thank you in advance.
Googles maps amd navigation will still function, you only have to pay to use Verizons Navigation software.
Also be sure to have a car charger with you if you're going to use google nav or maps often while you drive otherwise you're DX will be dead for the return trip home!!
