Can't get 3G Mobile Hotspot to work with Cr-48

I can't get my Google Cr-48 (the free Google computer) to connect to my 3G Mobile Hotspot. It sees the phone, associates with it, but it won't connect--I get an error message every time.
I know the hotspot works with other computers, both laptop and desktop, without any trouble at all. And the Cr-48 connects to other routers and wireless hotspots and also to the Verizon 3G network without any trouble.
I'm paying the $20/month charge for the 3G Mobile Hotspot, but there's no point in keeping it if I can't use it for the Cr-48, which is the real reason why I would pay for it. Any suggestions?

Clearly the device from verizon works, I would try to contact a computer tech to repair your computer
Really it should be as simple as turn on, connect, go. If it isn't there is a break down somewhere in that computer
What error msg?

The computer is the Cr-48. There is no computer tech who can help with this. And it connects to other hotspots and other wifi. It may be that there is a setting that I don't know about, but it's not just a simple "contact a tech" solution.

oh you're right, no one supports that device.
