Can't get PIX msgs

I recently bought a Droid X, and two of my friends tried to send me picture messages today. I could not receive either one of them. One was a Verizon customer, so it isn't other carrier issues. I am far from a techie, so any help in layman's terms would be of great help thanks

how were they sent, as email or text? if email, did you setup the account if different fom gmail?

i find it easier to send pics as text messages.

How is your signal strength...or theirs?    Also maybe ask Verizon techs to reset your profile.  This was done for me once.  I have no idea what the tech was doing...he just said he was resetting my profile.
