Can't hear anything when placing a call?!

So I don't know if I changed it somehow or what happened, but when i place a call or somebody calls me the only way for me to hear them is when i put them on speaker.... It's like I muted the other person.... Anybody else with this issue? How can I fix this? It's a droid X2 btw.

Have you tried to press the up volume button while on call using the ear piece, ths volume for speaker and ear piece reacts seperate sometimes.

I can certainly troubleshoot the audio issue you are having on the Droid X2 as I understand the frustration it can cause. There are no specific settings on the phone to mute incoming audio. I would suggest performing a soft reset on the phone by pulling the battery while the phone is on and reinserting. To confirm that an app is not causing the problem try putting the phone in Safe Mode. Press and hold menu while turning on the phone. Continue holding menu until Safe Mode appears on screen, this can take up to 30 seconds. This will allow the phone to start up with no applications running in the background. To end Safe Mode simply turn off the phone and turn it back on. If that is not successful before we can determine a warranty replacement is needed a master reset should be done to confirm there are no corruptions with the software. Press Menu> Settings> Privacy> Factory Data Reset> Reset Phone> Erase Everything. Make sure your data is backed up before completing this.
