Can't send or receive company email.

Have had the Droid 2 for 19 days. Have yet to be able to send/receive email from my company email account. I have spoken to several tech support people (what a joke they are!) and been emailing tech support as well. So far all they can tell me is the the problem is in my corporate email setup. I find this hard to believe. I have never had a problem with the exact same setup in my previous phone (Blackberry). I used the same settings I use on my home computer and laptop. Never had a problem. Now it doesn't work. Perhaps tech support is right, but that would mean there is a difference in the way email is handled in a droid versus a blackberry, as in google's servers don't work as pure pass-through devices. I have never liked Verizon customer support, and now it seems even worse. Guess I will be recommending AT&T for corporate phones. And Blackberry only.

Gonna need a little more information.  Does your company use Exchange for emails? Did your company use a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) with the blackberries?  Android uses ActiveSync for Exchange.  Check with your IT people to make sure ActiveSync is configured and that they allow non-blackberry devices.
