When I take a picture it goes directly to phone storage instead of the SD card. I go to camera> menu >settings(gears)>storage>select storage card. The picture still goes to phone storage. I re-set the battery and got the same result. Verizon does not have an answer either. Downloaded ASTRO app. and still have no luck. Thanks in advance for any help.

Whether traveling for business or fun, enjoy taking photos and videos of your trip and encounters with your phone’s camera.
Be sure to plug in your microSD card before you use your phone’s camera. Photos and videos captured with the camera will be stored onto your microSD card.
You can find additional instructions by viewing your owners manual online:

I just transferred all my photos to the SD card by way of loading them on my computer and loading them back onto the SD card. My storage setting is also set to the card, but I just took a photo and it goes to the phone storage. I would also like some help with this!

That doesn't work. They do not save on my SD card either. Only to the phone. I don't understand. I have looked under every menu, setting, app I can think of and do not find anything that allows me to send my pictures from my gallery to my SD card. I tried looking at the online device manual but that gives no instructions or help either.
I understand in you last post you say they SHOULD automatically go to the card, but they are not. We are asking for your help as to how to get them to the card. Please instruct us as to HOW to put them on our card. Don't continue to simply tell us they should automatically save there. That is not helpful to us. Please give us instructions/directions on how to make this happen. Thank you.

As described above, I was having this problem. Apparently, I made some sort of file that is named SD Card and the photos that I copied to my computer and then back to the phone are in that file. I thought that any new photo was saving to the phone. I went back to the store, again, and when the helpful Verizon man took my card out, there were no photos on the phone! So even though it does not say or look like they are going to the SD card, they are. And I have not had the memory full message since that time.
Not that I understand any of this. I won't understand this phone until it is time to get a new one. And heaven help me then!

I had the same problem. I send the pictures to my gmail address via gmail or any other emails you have yahoo ...etc. Go to gmail on your computer and then you can copy or save them to your computer. Now it doesn't work for videos, because they are to big to send.

You can save pictures and other files sent to you via text message on your HTC Droid Incredible.
1. In the Messaging app , tap the list of messages where the picture is located.
2. Tap and hold the picture.
3. Select Copy attached to SD card
