My Droid Incredible 2 came pre-installed with a Youtube app so I assumed I would be able to use this app. When I try to upload a video to Youtube via the app, Youtube says it doesn't recognize the file format. What? Why did the phone come pre-installed with an app I can't use????

Good suggestion about updating the Youtube app. I tried to duplicate the issue and I was able to upload the video with out at problem. Is your video quality set to widescreen 800x480?
I've done some online searches and found that other people HAVE been able to successfully upload videos to Youtube from the Droid Incredible 2. What am I doing wrong??

Try checking the Android Market for an updated version of the application. They might have added some compatibility or fixed some errors in the application.
You also might have gotten more exposure to other users if you had posted your question in the Droid Incredible 2 forum of this community instead of the PDA & Smartphone Devices forum.
