Can you reactivate a missing Droid?

A few months ago I thought I lost my Droid. I had it reported lost/stolen and got a new one. Two months after that I recovered the missing Droid. I hung onto the first Droid for the extra battery. Now, several months later, I am wondering if it is possible to reactivate the old Droid that was once reported lost/stolen?

Doubtful as it was probably blacklisted if you reported it as lost/stolen to asurion and technically it should now be their property.

Unfortunately, it looks like you can either return the phone, or have an interactive paper weight w/ battery charger!

If you had insurance on your phone and received a phone replacement from the insurance company after filing a claim, the phone now belongs to the insurance company and you will not be able to activate it as it has been placed on the lost/stolen list. To return the phone to Asurion please call 888-881-2622.

If you did not have insurance on your phone and obtained a replacement from a third party at your own cost, you can call us at 1-800-922-0204 and we can remove the phone from the lost/stolen list and you will be able to activate your phone at any time.

Yeah, if it's on Asurion's lost/stolen list, it's a glorified ipod touch to you, and since you already have a replacement, that doesn't sound very useful, I'd call the insurance company and see about returning it to them.
