In 4g and apparently certain 3g areas (I'm guessing fringe coverage). I don't know too much about the bionic.

yeah, I tested it yesterday since LTE won't be in my area until later this year and simultaneous voice and data definitely works over 3G.  Not sure what the actual limitations of it are though.

Should work on 4g, should often work on 3g but may not be particularly reliable/good.

As always, works great on wifi.

I live in NC and I was talking on speaker while surfing the web over 3G. It allowed both simultaneous with no 4G or WIFI.

Am a little curious. Is that with the WI-FI on or off?

The reason i ask, is that CDMA technology does NOT allow you to talk and surf at the same time. So am somewhat curious. :smileyhappy:

It's not necessarily a limitation of CDMA, just the technology Verizon was using previously.  Network modifications and the Qualcomm chipset in the Thunderbolt make it the only current device that can do simultaneous voice & data over 3G in addition to Wifi and LTE.
