Cannot assign ringtone to contacts

Please help!  I just switched from a Droid X to the Droid 2 and cannot assign ringtones to specific contacts.  I had no problem assigning the ringtones on the X.   When I go to contacts on the Droid 2 and click edit NO option for ringtone assignment is there.  Am I missing something?

Go to your contact.

Then Edit.

Scroll down to "Additional Info" and click the arrow to the right.

Scroll down farther until you get to "call handling".

I understand. Some times yo have to do tye steops twice per contact. Sometimes it will assign the ringtone to the default instead of the contact.

Just keep at it. I found that if you do one then wait a few minutes before starting the next one it will work first time each time

I've always used the app called Ringo Lite to assign ringtones to contacts

Ringdroid is a good app too.
