Cannot select an album when sending a SMS

When I try to select sn album to view or send an SMS the page I go to freezes my phone.  Ive tried to factory reset and that doesnt work.  I am at a loss of what to do.  Can anyone help?  Or let me know if you need further info on the problem.

are you trying to attach it to a message you have started? try just going to the gallery, selecting the pic you want, then touch menu, the select the share icon.

Yes I've tried that. When I select album or am in the sms and try to attach a pic and that's my prob. Do I have a bad SD card?

possibly....but let me make sure i understand. can you not view pics AT ALL?

No. When I go to view an album that's where I get the freeze happening. Is there a way to recover photos from a bad memory card?

i would try to view them through your pc via connecting the device with the usb cord (or if your pc has and sd card drive you can just put the sd card straight into the pc). if you can open them, then the phone may just be having trouble reading your card. if the pc cannot recognize the sd card, then you may have a bad card and lost what is on it. do you have apps or music on the sd card that you can access? if so and you can access other items on your sd card, then there may be something going bad with your gallery app?????

I will try to plug it into my pc. If it is just my gallery app can I replace it? If not how go I get another program to work when I try to send a sms picture message?

Not sure? I don't think you can uninstall it. You may be lookin at a factory reset if its the app....

I just did one, thinking that would fix the issue.. hope I don't have to get a refurbished phone.
