Cant find downloads after updating to 2.2...

After downloading 2.2, I have downloaded several apps from market place. Some apps show up ONLY under Applications in Settings, however I cannot access the apps or find them anywhere else. And some say downloaded successfully but no where to be found!

2.2 Sounds like a great update......heard the update 3.3 from Verizon consists of dropping a brick on your phone...cant wait :smileymad:

Hello Fondoguats. I have read post and understand the issue with your apps not showing in your market. You can try to remove the apps that you have downloaded to your phone then power your device off and doing a battery pull. If that does not help, try doing a hard reset.

From the home screen, touch the applications tab(located at the bottom of the display).

Touch Settings.

Touch Privacy.

Touch Factory Data Reset.

Touch Reset Phone.

If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.

Touch Erase Everything.

I usually don't agree with this action but a Factory reset after installing the update is a must do item, not all applications are 2.2 compatible and if a non-compatible app is installed on device can cause a number of device issues.
